About Port of Beira
Beira is Mozambique's second largest port. Mozambique Ports and Railways (CFM) administers it, and Cornelder de Moçambique, a joint venture between CFM and the Dutch Cornelder group, has run the container and general cargo terminals since 1998. Container volumes reached a monthly record of 42,364 TEU in October 2024.
Area served: Beira is the port of the Beira Corridor, which links it by road and rail to Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

There is no dedicated car terminal. Vehicles go through Cornelder's container terminal (645 m of quay, about 12 m depth, capacity of about 400,000 TEU a year) or its multipurpose general cargo terminal (670 m of quay, about 10 m depth). Under its extended concession Cornelder plans to raise container capacity to about 700,000 TEU a year.

We make export declarations directly on the UK customs system and prepare every document needed at the UK port of exit, including the Bill of Lading, export certificate and DVLA export documentation.
