New and Used Container Sales

1) New Containers
New containers, often described as one trip units, are built to ISO specification and have carried a single cargo from the factory before being sold. They arrive clean, dry and free of the dents and patch repairs that come with years at sea, which makes them the usual choice where the container will be seen, converted or kept long term.
Every new unit is wind and watertight, fitted with new door seals and a serviceable locking bar assembly, and is supplied cargo worthy for onward international shipping. Standard stock is grey or blue, with other colours available to order.
If you are exporting a vehicle and want the container to remain yours at the destination, buying rather than hiring is usually the more economical route. The container can be loaded at your premises, shipped with the vehicle inside, and then sold on, retained for storage or converted once it arrives.

2) Used Containers
Used containers come out of the shipping cycle after several years in service. They carry surface rust, dents and previous owner markings, but a cargo worthy unit remains structurally sound and fit to ship. For storage on a yard or a farm, a wind and watertight unit does the same job for less.
Stock changes weekly and no two used units are identical, so we supply photographs of the actual container before dispatch rather than a stock image.
Condition Grades
Containers are sold against recognised industry grades. The grade determines whether a unit can still be shipped internationally or is only suitable for static storage:
New / One Trip
Manufactured within the last 12 months and shipped once from the factory. Cleanest option, wind and watertight, with minimal cosmetic marking.
Cargo Worthy (CW)
Certified fit for international shipping. Structurally sound, with surface wear and repaired patches consistent with age.
Wind and Watertight (WWT)
Sound for dry storage. Not certified for sea freight, but doors seal and the roof and panels are intact.
As Is
End of life units sold for on-site storage, conversion or scrap. Sold unseen with no condition guarantee.
