About Dekehtik Port, Pohnpei
Pohnpei's only commercial seaport, owned and operated by the Pohnpei Port Authority. In 2016 it handled around 2,000 inbound TEU, 70,000 tonnes of breakbulk and 25,000 tonnes of fuel, with little outbound traffic. The main wharf serves international cargo ships, tankers and purse seiners, with a domestic wharf alongside and the separate Takatik Fishing Wharf to the south.

No dedicated RoRo berth is described: vehicles cross the main international cargo wharf with containers and breakbulk. The port authority leases cargo handling to a private operator, which works with top loaders and forklifts, and a 7,500 m2 outside storage area is used for general cargo and vehicles.
